Specialty Massages

Certified in several areas of specialty massages, Chantel uses techniques to reconnect the body, mind and spirit while restoring balance in the body. Try these modalities if you haven't been achieving the results you want with previous massages, or if you want to try something new. Can't choose? Combine it all with a custom massage!

Craniosacral Therapy

30 minutes  -  60 minutes  -  90 minutes

Craniosacral is a gentle modality that targets the central nervous system to have a deeply profound impact throughout the entire body. It is beneficial for anyone who has been in a car accident, other whiplash injuries, head injuries, etc. Add 30 minutes to any massage, or enjoy a full Craniosacral session for 60 or 90 minutes.

Table Thai Massage

90 minutes  -  120 minutes

Table Thai incorporates compression, acupressure, stretching and range of motion to bring balance to the body, increase flexibility and allow the body to surrender into relaxation. Please wear loose clothing for this session, similar to yoga attire.

Thai Fusion

60 minutes  -  90 minutes  -  120 minutes

Thai Fusion incorporates principles of Thai massage into an integrative massage using lotion. Some say this is the best of both worlds since you receive the Thai stretches to increase flexibility in addition to flushing and kneading of the muscles. Thai Fusion is great for athletes and sedentary computer workers as well; it will open and reconnect the body.

30 minutes  -  60 minutes

Reflexology applies pressure to specific points on the feet and hands that correspond to areas of the body. Applying pressure on the reflex point resets the nervous system’s communication from the brain to that specific area of the body. Reflexology has the ability to work the entire body- both muscles as well as organs to induce relaxation. It is beneficial for plantar fasciitis and anyone on their feet for long hours. Add 30 minutes to any massage or enjoy a full 60 minutes of Reflexology.

Custom Massage

60 minutes  -  90 minutes  -  120 minutes

This integrative massage incorporates many different modalities to customize a massage to each individual’s needs. This massage may include deep tissue, Thai stretches, trigger point therapy and Swedish to name a few.

Classic Massages

Swedish Massage

60 minutes  -  90 minutes  -  120 minutes

Swedish massage uses light to medium pressure with flushing strokes to help increase circulation and detoxify the body.  This is a very relaxing massage to help calm the mind and is also a great recovery after a tough day training or a race.

Sports Massage

60 minutes  -  90 minutes  -  120 minutes

Sports massage is excellent for the professional athlete, weekend warriors and everyone in between. Flushing, deep tissue, stretching and range of motion are included in this massage that is designed to help your body recover and get ready for another day on the mountain.

Pre and Postnatal Massage

60 minutes  -  90 minutes  -  120 minutes

Both expecting and new mothers benefit immensely from incorporating regular massage into their wellness plan. Massage can help ease the aches and pains that may be present before and after child birth. It can help increase circulation, reduce edema, reduce headaches and ease tension.

Massage Enhancements

Elevate your massage with these enhancements! Unless noted, enhancements are complimentary in the studio and will be customized to each session. Compresses must be booked prior to the session to allow time to steam heat.

CBD Massage $20

CBD, short for Cannabidiol, is the healing property of the cannabis plant. It provides anti-inflammatory agents without psychoactive affects, or feeling "high." The CBD Massage uses a highly concentrated salve, massaged locally to areas of pain or soreness. Clients have noted it's their best night sleep after a CBD Massage.

Ask about CBD oil for under the tongue to help the body systemically. CBD oil has benefited clients with arthritis, chronic pain, insomnia and anxiety.

Hot Herbal Compresses

Hot Herbal Compresses are an excellent addition to *most massages.  They are filled with herbs to reduce inflammation and are steam heated to release tension in the muscles, warm the fascia and promote general relaxation.

*Not recommended if there's a history of heart disease or for women who may be pregnant.

Essential Oil Therapy

Essential Oil Therapy uses nature’s medicine to safely and effectively calm the nervous system. Essential oils have been used for 5000 years to help a wide array of ailments including muscle pain, nausea, hormonal imbalances and many others.  The oil may be mixed with the massage oil or used directly on a target area.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping is an alternative medicine therapy, known to have been used in ancient cultures as early as 1550 BC. It uses inverse pressure to pull the tissues and increase circulation to the area. It has been known to reduce pain and inflammation, increase range of motion, and induce relaxation. Although not painful, cupping often leaves marks that look like bruises.

Arnica Muscle Balm

Arnica muscle balm is massaged into a target area to help relieve sore, tired muscles and reduce pain. It is beneficial for athletes of any level; if you’re sore from playing  on the mountain or training, arnica will help! It’s also effective for injuries such as torn ligaments and bruising.

Hot Stones

Hot stones are used to help soothe and relax sore muscles. Hand picked from the rivers of Colorado, these basalt stones are volcanic rock that retain heat. Used to warm up the muscles before deeper pressure, or as a way to soothe them after therapeutic work. Hot stones are contraindicated for some clients.
